Investigators are wondering how a truck started on fire Thursday night, as no suspects or the vehicle owner were present.

The Austin Fire Department and Mower County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 4000 block of 20th Avenue NW in Austin after the fire was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Firefighters cleared the scene at about 10:45, but not until the 1994 Chevy pickup truck was destroyed by the flames.

Law enforcement officials have no suspects at this time and are unsure if anyone intentionally started the fire.
