Sam Swenson, a senior, went all seven innings and he picked up the win for the Awesome Blossoms (1-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher) as he scattered six hits and five walks. FBA’s lone run came on a solo home run that made it a 2-1 game in the fifth inning.

“He did great,” BP head coach Matt Kittelson said of Swenson. “He kept the ball down and defensively we helped him out a lot.”
