The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team picked up a pair of wins at the Stewartville tournament Friday.

The Athletics beat PACT (9-4 overall) 9-2 and they topped Stewartville (4-9 overall) 6-1.

Daniel Bollingberg struck out 10 for LP (12-2 overall) against Stewartville and Jordan Cotter hit his first home run in that win. Against PACT, LP’s Lee Bauer had two doubles and four RBIs.

“Really good to see the kids play aggressive and play hard tonight,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “We pitched well and made plays, I hope we continue to play this way with tough games ahead. These were two good teams that beat and I am proud of how we competed.”
