The No. 7 seeded Southland football team had its season come to an end in a 35-2 loss at No. 2 Goodhue (6-3 overall) in a Section 1A quarterfinal game Wednesday.

The Rebels (2-7 overall) trailed 14-2 when Goodhue added a TD right before the first half ended.
