Amy Eunice Chamberlin, 53, of Austin, Minnesota died on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at her home.

Amy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Aug. 7, 1962, to Ann Bridgid (Fitzgerald) Wenigar. She moved with her mother to California and then to Austin when she was 15. Amy attended Pacelli High School then transferred and graduated from Austin High School. Amy met her life-long partner, Fred Hemann, when she was 18. She raised her family and worked for Mower County Transit for over 12 years.

Amy loved fishing, camping, attending demo derbys and craft work like sewing. She loved being around family and always had a smile on her face. Amy always wanted people around her to be happy.

Amy is survived by her life partner Fred Hemann of Austin; children, Alfred Hemann of Austin, and Heidi (Tony) Jensen of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota; siblings, Patrick (Sylvia) Whitcomb of Faribault, Minnesota, Beth Wilson of California, Sue Petty of Arizona, Mike Chamberlin of Austin, Jacky (Cecil) Hatfield of Austin, Melissa Haroldson of Austin; along with many nieces and nephews.

Amy is preceded in death by her mother, brother David Chamberlin and sister, Deborah Harris.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Raul Silva officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church only. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Mayer Funeral Home is entrusted with Amy’s arrangements.
