Kasson-Mantorville sweeps Hayfield volleyball team

The Hayfield volleyball team had a three-match winning streak come to an end when it lost to Kasson-Mantorville (12-8 overall, 6-1 HVL) by scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-21 on the road Thursday.
Carrie Rutledge had nine kills and 16 digs for the Vikings (16-4 overall, 7-2 HVL).
“It is always game on in the HVL,” Hayfield head coach Jeremy Struck said. “On any given night, you can get knocked off so you better have your “A” game. Tonight, we couldn’t overcome our mistakes and they better a game.”
