This letter is in response to the “Our Voice” editorial of Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008.

The question I have for you is this: Where and when do you feel we should get our message out?

As for what to tell the 5 year old, tell the truth. We have laws to deal with illegal immigrants, and they should be enforced. As for the sign in the Albert Lea parade, you are wrong.

There was nobody riding on the float. The person who was hit in the face with a rock was bystander on the other side of the street.

We have 32 immigrant groups in Minnesota. We took a vote, and it was decided that we use a plane and banner to get our message out.

Austin has a group in the Minnesota Coalition for Immigration Reduction. We are willing to listen to your suggestions.
