Grand Meadow beat the Minnesota School for the Deaf 25-23, 25-13, 25-14 Tuesday night on the road.

The Superlarks (1-0 overall) racked up 15 aces as a team on the night as Kristine Gerber, who had 14 assists, Jessica Benson, who had 10 kills, and Abby Fay, who had six kills, all had five service aces.

GM fell behind by as many as 12 points in the first game before coming back.

“We were having a lot of serving errors and they pressured us,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said.
