A passenger car collided with the rear dual wheels on a tractor pulling a manure wagon, causing an accident Tuesday night.

A passenger car collided with the rear dual wheels on a tractor pulling a manure wagon, causing an accident Tuesday night.

According to a Mower County Sheriff’s Department report, Arlo Warnke, 33 of Elkton, and a passenger, Scott, 8 and the driver’s son, were in an eastbound car traveling on a gravel road in Section 16 of Clayton Township northeast of Adams.

Approaching the car was a tractor driven by Toby Curtis (no age), Red Wing, and pulling the manure wagon.

The mishap occurred at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s department report.

The Warnke auto struck the rear left dual wheels on the tractor and went into a roadside ditch.

Curtis was uninjured, by Scott Warnke was taken to an area hospital by an Adams Ambulance Service crew for observation.
