Tracy Putz, daughter of Allen and Rita Putz of Austin, has been selected as a state finalist in the Miss Minnesota American Coed Pageant to be held Aug.

Tracy Putz, daughter of Allen and Rita Putz of Austin, has been selected as a state finalist in the Miss Minnesota American Coed Pageant to be held Aug. 12 to 14 at the City Center Marriott Hotel in Minneapolis.

The pageant is held for girls ages 3 through 17, each competing within their own age division. The winner of each division will receive a cash award, a full modeling scholarship, the official crown and banner, transportation and trip to Florida where she will enjoy a day in Disney World and compete in a five-day event with other state winners for the national title.

Putz’s activities include a job at AmericInn and work on the Internet. She also enjoys running, biking, animals, crafts and baby sitting.
