Thirty-five acres of sunflowers stretch out before the eye, above, on the Francis and Aurelia Guiney farm in rural Austin. The Guineys’ son, Joe, practices sustainable farming on about 100 acres of the farm. The sunflowers will be harvested by combine and used for oil and seeds.
