Mower County deputies clocked a 15-year-old boy driving at 76 mph at 4:17 a.m. Monday on Highway 218 North in Lansing Township. The boy, who gave a false name to police and said he didn’t know where he lived, ended up with a litany of charges according the sheriff’s report: open bottle, underage drink and drive, possession of drug paraphanelia, giving a false name to police, reckless driving and no driving license.
Hot tub stolen
A neighbor reported seeing three males steal a gray hot tub from Arens Heating and Cooling. The men left the scene headed southbound down the alleyway with the hot tub in the back of a two-tone four-door Chevy truck.
The hot tub was being repaired and was valued by Arens Heating and Cooling owner Steve Arens at $500.
