You’ve got one less hour to enjoy these events this weekend: daylight-saving time starts at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Cards and cars

Head on out to OakPark Mall this weekend and you can take a look at the Chateau Speedway race car show as well as the regular sports card and memorabilia show. Both events are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be a number of vendors from throughout the region offering sports cards and sports memorabilia, as well as Beanie Babies, Pokemon, collectible figures and autographs. It rings a bell

The 16th annual Austin Area Handbell Ring-Out is at Riverland Community College’s gym on Saturday. Handbell choirs from four states will spend a day learning and practicing their art. The day concludes with a 4 p.m. concert. Tickets: $3 per person; $10 maximum per family.

Clean out the garage

Need to get rid of a few things? There will be a swap meet at the National Guard Armory from 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday. Setup is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Tables are free. Call 437-8543.
