Area residents will have the chance to dance the night away this weekend, when the Frank W. Bridges Theatre plays host to the play Footloose.

The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Saturday and Sunday on the campus of Riverland Community College in Austin. Tickets for the performance are $9 and are available at Nemitz's or at the Riverland Box Office. For information, call 433-0595.

The First District's Republican candidate banquet takes place tonight at 8 p.m. at the Guest House Inn in Albert Lea. Cost is $20 per person. On Saturday, the Republicans will have their First District convention for elected delegates and alternates at 8:30 a.m. at Albert Lea High School.
