With June underway, it means the start of local town festivals can't be too far behind.

Adams' Dairy Days will be the first such event that area residents will have a chance to attend, as the celebration takes place this coming weekend. After that, there's too many to mention in this space. However, Austin will be hosting two upcoming festivals. Next weekend will be the Spam Museum Jam, and the Freedom Fest in the Heartland 2002 will take place July 4-7.

We encourage area residents to get outside and venture to our local communities when these festivals take place. It's this slice of small-town flavor that makes our region unique, and one reason for many that we decide to live here.
