Two juvenile males were caught after stealing $213 in change Monday night.
According to Austin Police Chief Paul Philipp, the two boys, aged 12 and 13 years old, stopped at a truck stop and were carrying a large bag of change, which made the store clerk suspicious.
The clerk contacted the police and when the two boys were questioned by an officer, they admitted they stole the change. According to police reports, the boys said they broke into the office at West Manor Apartments, found keys to the complex's laundry room, unlocked the change compartments of the machines and took the change.
