We must live life to its fullest

A year has passed.
No one has to utter what happened that day to conjure up a flood of memories.
Only the date.
We've now had a year to digest what has happened and what this country will do about it.
But for many families, revenge isn't payback enough for having an empty chair around the dinner table at Thanksgiving.
Sept. 11, 2001 will be remembered as as a tragic date, but one that was also the beginning in strengthening this country's resolve.
Fifty years from now, people will still recall what happened on that fateful day. However, although it will be remembered, the fanfare won't be as much as it is today.
You only have to look at the latest anniversary of Pearl Harbor to surmise that.
As Americans, we must continue to realize that life does indeed go on, even after such a tragic event.
Letting terrorism consume our lives is the worst thing we can do. As a result, the best way to honor those who perished in the attacks is to continue to live life to its fullest.
