Immigration lawyer will be asset

The immigrant population has been growing steadily in Mower County. Evidence of that can been seen in the 2000 Census numbers. The Hispanic population alone grew roughly 15 percent in the last 10 years.

That growth doesn't include the immigrants from other nationalities.

The low unemployment rate in the county makes it an attraction to those from other countries.

And many of those immigrants would like to begin a new life here.

Becoming a United States citizen is part of that new life for many immigrants.

Luckily, a lawyer specializing in immigration law has opened up an office in Austin. Dan Donnelly has had experience while practicing immigration law in Washington D.C.

The types of skills he possesses are usually found in bigger cities. But instead of trekking to St. Paul, immigrants in Austin can get information and advice locally.

Donnelly's knowledge and proximity will be an asset to those who have recently move here and want to become a part of this country.
