Cecilia J. Thiele, 45
Cecilia J. Thiele, 45, of Benton-ville, Ark., formerly of Austin, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers, Ark.
She was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Austin, to Delmer and June (Vickerman) Allen. She attended Queen of Angels Church and Pacelli High School. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
She was a parent educator for the Bentonville School District, director for the Parents as Teachers program that worked with parents with children ages newborn to kindergarten. She was also actively involved in St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bentonville as well as Boy Scout Troop 525 and the Boys and Girls Club Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Galen Thiele; children, Joseph, Benjamin and Laura, all at home; parents, Delmer and June Allen, Austin; sisters, Mary (Stillman) Knight, Montrose, Ala.; Judy (Tom) Keen, Washington, D.C.; Deborah (David) Novak, Minneapolis; Bridget (John) Kronmiller, Sturgess, S.D.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, with a 6:30 p.m. wake service and Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin with Father Paul Nelson officiating. Casket bearers will be Jerome Thiele, Kenny Bell, John Kronmiller, David Novak, Tom Keen and Christopher Weis. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bentonville, Ark. at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
