Paul E. Brown, 62

Paul E. Brown, 62, of Austin, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center.

He was born Dec. 10, 1940, to Walter P. and Margaret E. (Noble) Brown in Austin.

A lifelong Austin resident, Paul married Judith Johnson on March 14, 1963, in Omaha, Neb. He was employed by Farmstead Foods in Albert Lea for 27 and a half years. He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include wife, Judith Brown, Austin; son, Kent Brown, Austin; brother, Jack (Shirley) Brown, Omaha, Neb.; mother-in-law, Geneva Johnson, Austin; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruby.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 9, 2003, at the funeral home and Monday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristin K. Wee officiating.

Interment: Grandview Cemetery.
