Winter weather conditions caused the postponement of every athletic event involving Mower County High Schools for the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 11.
All Austin High School events -- including girls’ basketball versus Winona, boys’ basketball at Winona, boys’ hockey at Rochester John Marshall, and girls’ hockey at Gustavus Adolphus -- have been postponed, but no immediate make-up dates were issued.
The rest of the events have been postponed to a date within the coming week.
The Lyle/Pacelli girls’ basketball game at Grand Meadow will be played on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
The Southland girls’ basketball game against Chatfield will be played in Adams Thursday night at 6:15 p.m., preceding the originally scheduled boys’ game against Kingsland. Southland’s boys’ game scheduled for tonight at Chatfield has been moved to next Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Both Hayfield boys’ and girls’ basketball games against Stewartville have been postponed to Monday, Feb. 17. The Viking boys were to host, while the girls were on the road.
The LeRoy-Ostrander girls’ basketball game at Glenville-Emmons will also be made up on Monday night.
