Goldeane E. Bliese, 91
Gold-eane Evelyn Bliese, 91, of Stewart-ville, died Monday, March 24, 2003, of natural causes at Stewartville Care Center.
She was born April 28, 1911, in Munich, N.D. She moved with her family to Austin, where she attended school and worked at Hormel Foods for a short time.
On Dec. 24, 1931, she married Raymond Bliese in Austin. They lived in Austin where Mrs. Bliese was a homemaker. Raymond died in 1969. Goldeane moved to Stewartville in 1976, and to the Stewartville Care Center in 1996.
She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville and was active in its ladies aid, quilting group and Bible classes.
Survivors include son, Clayton (Linda) Bliese, Faribault; four granddaughters; one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003, at the funeral home and Friday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville with the Rev. Lyle Fritsch officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.

Tod D. Wilke, 36
Tod David Wilke, 36, of Eau Claire, Wis., died Monday, March 17, 2003, peacefully in his sleep at home.
Tod was born on March 5, 1967, in Austin, Minn. to Donald and Marcia (Skinner) Wilke. He was baptized by Pastor L.W. Schierenbeck at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Austin, and was confirmed by Pastor Paul Fleischer at Our Savior's Church in Jamestown, N.D. Tod was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.
Tod attended schools in Austin, Bismarck, N.D., Immanuel Lutheran High School/College in Eau Claire and graduated from Jamestown, N.D. High School.
Tod worked at Best Buy until a motorcycle accident, which caused serious brain trauma with many weeks of rehabilitation. His first choice of an outing following his hospitalization was to go to church to hear the words of the Good Shepherd.
Survivors include Tod's father, Donald of Louisville, Ky.; brother and sister-in-law, Pastor Michael and Gloria Wilke of Saginaw, Mich.; brother, Robert Wilke of Eau Claire, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Tanja Wilke of Rapid City, S.D.; nephews, Luke, Nathanial, Aaron and Jesse Wilke of Saginaw, Mich. and Wesley Fleischer of Eau Claire, Wis.; niece, Janaye Wilke of Rapid City, S.D.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Tod touched his loved ones' lives in many ways as a son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be missed.
Memorial services were held on Monday, March 24, 2003, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Eau Claire at 1 p.m. Pastor Mark Gullerud officiated.
Smith Funeral Chapel assisted the family.
