Registration for Austin Youth Baseball is now open until Tuesday, April 15.

The league is for players between ages 7-15 as of July 31. Registration is being held at South Central Athlete at 209 N. Main St. in Austin. Fees are $20 per player with a maximum of $40 per family.

Anyone who registers after April 15 will not be guaranteed a spot on a team. If room is still available, those late registrants will be charged $30 and no family discounts will be given.

Players will not be notified of their teams until at least May 25, and games begin in June.

Local youth soccer still has room on two traveling teams

Registration for Austin Youth Soccer is still open for two traveling teams.

The 12-and-under boys team and a 14-and-under girls team are still accepting players. Individuals on the boys team must have been born between Aug. 1, 1991, and July 31, 1992. Players on the girls team must have been born between July 31, 1989, and Aug. 1, 1991.

Registration is due by Friday, April 11. Forms are available at Games People Play or at the Austin Parks and Recreation office.
