The couple will be married June 7, 2003, at the groom's father's home.

The engagement of Maria Issa and Mark Robertson is announced. Parents are Souheil and Hala Issa of Trollhatten, Sweden and Wayne and Rita Robertson of Rose Creek.

Maria was a Swedish and English teacher in Sweden and Mark is a computer engineer with Pratt & Whitney Cenco in Minneapolis.

The couple will be married April 25 at St. Augustine Church, Austin.

Charles and Deborah Voogd of Austin announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Rose Voogd, to Ryan Robert Bell, son of John and Denise Everett of Austin.

Ryan works for G & G Heating and Air Conditioning.

Melanie is a full-time student and a nurse at St. Marks Nursing Home.

The couple will be married at 5:30 p.m. on July 12, 2003, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Austin. The reception will be held at St. Edwards Corcoran Center.

Jana is in the RN program at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Emerson is self-employed.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. on May 24, 2003, at Veterans Memorial Pavilion in Austin. The reception will be held at the Holiday Inn.

George and Leila Gilbert Nasers of Worthington announce the engagement of Seth Gilbert to Melanie Neumann, Austin. Melanie's parents are the late Audrey and Ernest Neumann.

Melanie is a graduate of Austin High School, Winona State University and William Mitchell College of Law. She is a corporate attorney for Hormel Food Corp., Austin.

Gilbert is a graduate of Worthington High School, Gustavus Adolphus College and William Mitchell College of Law.

The couple will be married at 3 p.m. on May 3 in Lyle.

The reception will be held at the Carpenter Community Center.
