Sharon L. Leier, 67
Sharon L. (Grover) Leier, age 67, formerly of Austin, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at the Austin Medical Center.
Sharon was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Austin, Minn. to Richard and Gae (Greenlee) Grover.
She went on to become a nursing assistant at Little Sisters of the Poor in St. Paul. Sharon wanted to be remembered for her years of service as a caretaker at Little Sisters of the Poor taking care of the elderly.
She loved spending time at "Sally's" with her sisters and loved the family Christmases in Harmony, Minn.
Survivors include four children: Greg Moore, Lino Lakes; Laura (Dwight) Weiring, Minneapolis; Julie (Mike) Munos, South St. Paul; Brian Smith, St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Phyllis (Don) Hall, Austin; Dick (Linda) Grover, Harmony; Bill (Mary) Grover, Austin; Shirley Brown, Austin; Fred Grover, Louisiana; Linda (Mike) Burzinski, Brownsdale; Kathy Grover, Minneapolis; Deb (Mike) Roberts, St. Francis; Joy Metz, Shakopee; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Jeanne Fox and Patty Grover.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2003, at Crane Community Chapel with Pastor Randy Petersen and Pastor Dennis McGrane officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The casket bearers will be Don Hall, Josh Brown, Tom Roberts, Brian Smith, Rick Hall and Mike Roberts.
Mary A. Eadie, 85
Mary Angelina Eadie, 85, of Austin, formerly of Pueblo, Colo., died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at St. Mark's Lutheran Home, Austin.
She was born Jan. 28, 1918, to Alfredo and Maurizia (Carpetti) Cocetti in Walsenburg, Colo.
She lived in the Walsenburg area and graduated from Huerfano County High School in 1936.
On May 17, 1941, she married George Eadie, Jr. in Raton, N.M. They moved to Pueblo, Colo., where George died in October of 1986.
Mary received her associate degree in mental health at the University of Southern Colorado and worked for 20 years at Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (James) Fritzle, Midland, Texas; Gloria (Terry) Gaber, Greeley, Colo.; Mary Alice (James) Troyer, Austin; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margaret Blagg, Bedford, Texas; Jeanine Eadie, Pueblo, Colo.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2003, at Adrian Comer Garden Chapel in Pueblo, Colo.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colo. with the Rev. Ron Roche officiating.
Interment: Imperial Memorial Gardens.
