The Austin Legion Post 91 baseball team opens postseason play tonight at 7 p.m. at Marcusen Park against Waseca. It will be a nine-inning game.

Post 91 ended the regular season with a 17-13 overall record after its 6-4 victory at Owatonna Friday night. With a 9-5 First District record, Austin earned the second seed in the district and a first-round home game.

Austin defeated Waseca in both regular season meetings. Post 91 prevailed 13-9 June 26 in Waseca, and the local Legion team took a 5-4 triumph last Monday in Austin.
