First-term mayor Tom Stiehm will be challenged in the upcoming election by at least one contender.

Jimmy Dean Hultgren of Austin filed for the seat July 10, according to the city clerk.

Hultgren co-owns Fresco Joe’s, a Mexican-American restaurant located at Oak Park Mall in Austin.
