Minnesota’s made-in-USA flag law justified

Minnesota passed a law this year requiring American flags purchased in the state to be made in the U.S.A., a move that just takes common sense.

Critics say this law micromanages what business can and can’t sell, and others believe the higher prices prevent some from buying them at all.

Doesn’t buying a foreign-made American flag defeat the purpose of even purchasing one in the first place? Ever notice how some of those “Proud to be an American” and other patriotic T-shirts frequently sold at discount stores are actually made in China?
