Todd Seavey

Todd James Seavey, 47, of Apple Valley, Minn., formerly of Austin, Minn., died Thursday Aug. 14, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Todd was born Sept., 28, 1960 in Austin, Minn., to Gerald and Clarice (Miller) Seavey. He graduated from Austin High School in 1979.
Todd worked in the construction industry, eventually owning construction businesses around the Twin Cities and also a restaurant in Blaine, Minn. He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding his motorcycles, NASCAR races, playing cards, and most of all his three children, Adam, Megan and Cody.
Survivors include: his mother: Clarice Seavey, Austin, Minn.; a sister: Jennifer (Kyle) Hendrikson, Litchfield, Minn.; his ex-wife: Cindy Seavey of Burnsville, Minn.; three children: Adam, Megan and Cody of Burnsville, Minn.; fiancee: Traci Geraghty, Apple Valley, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His father preceded him in death in 2005.
A celebration of life for Todd will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 107 11th Street NE, Austin, Minn., with a prayer service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Barnett officiating. Burial of his ashes will be at a private location at a later date.
