Viking volleyball team loses opener

The New Richland H/E/G volleyball team defeated Hayfield 25-16, 31-29, 25-21 Thursday night in Hayfield.
Kiley Severson had 13 kills and two blocks for the Vikings (0-1 overall) in their season opener. Molly Streightiff added seven kills and 15 assists, Jordyn Krekling had six kills and two blocks, and Alyssa Selk had 14 assists.
