The Packer girls tennis team took second place in the Big Nine meet Saturday.

“I’m so proud of each and every one of them for leaving it all on the court Saturday,” Austin head coach Thomas Tauchnitz said. “To finish ahead of a very tough Century team to take second is exactly what I was hoping for. The girls are so motivated right now. We really seem to be gelling as a team right now and playing great tennis at all positions.”

Austin will host Northfield in a subsection match Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Paulson Tennis courts
