Grand Meadow struggled with consistency in a four-game loss to Spring Grove by scores of 17-25, 25-8, 20-25, 21-25 on the road Tuesday.
The Superlarks (16-8 overall, 7-2 SEC) won the second game by a lopsided margin, but couldn’t keep it going.
“At times we were real smooth and running on all cylinders, then we would let up and let them control the game,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said. “We’re coming to the end of the season and we’ve got to play our best volleyball.”
Kristine Gerber had 19 assists, five aces, and three blocks for GM, Abbie Fay had 13 kills, and Jessica Benson had eight kills and four blocks.
