Peter Jerome, M.D., pulmonologist, has joined Austin Medical Center — part of Mayo Health System. Jerome specializes in all forms of lung diseases, including bronchial asthma, COPD, lung cancer, chronic cough and pneumonia. His areas of interest also include pulmonary hypertension and sleep medicine.

He is available to see patients at Austin Medical Center two days a week, as well as at Albert Lea Medical Center, also a part of Mayo Health System. Jerome received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, and previously worked at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wis.
