The Austin gymnastics team finished fourth in the Big Nine meet Saturday in Mankato East.

The Packers had a team score of 136.1, while Owatonna won the meet with a 144.

It was Austin’s best finish in six years with only ‘AA’ schools atop the Packers in the standings.

“We spent last week working on cleaning up our routines and Saving every tenth that we worked all year to put into our routines,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “We focused on landings leg position, jump height. Our plan was to go better than 135.”

Sela Fadness led the Packers with a 9.15 on the floor, Sabrina Snater led in the vault (9.15) and floor (9.125).
