Arc Mower County is attempting to raise more money to support its programs for people with disabilities.
With the cooperation of the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Austin, Arc Mower County will receive a share of the restaurant’s profits on specified dining days.
According to Arc Mower County, anyone dining at the Austin Applebee’s March 24 and 31 can receive 10 percent off their dining bill.
The diners must pick up a voucher from Arc Mower County and give it to their server on March 24 or 31.
Arc Mower County’s headquarters is located at the Mower County Senior Center, 400 Third Ave. N.E.
Recently, Arc Mower County agreed to take over the Austin High School special needs students’ annual spring prom event.
Plans are currently being made for the event and will be announced later.
Membership in Arc Mower County helps improve the lives of people who have developmental disabilities.
The mission of the organization is to secure and choose opportunities for people with disabilities to realize their goals to live, work, learn, play and worship where they choose.
