The Lyle/Pacelli softball team had its regular season end with a 13-3 loss at Spring Grove/Caledonia in six innings Tuesday.

The Athletics lost their starting pitcher Danni Felten in the first inning when she was hit by a line drive in the leg three pitches into the game. With only a short time to warm up, reliever Breanna Fouts allowed eight runs in the first inning.

The Athletics (4-14 overall) will play in the subsection tournament in Todd Park Thursday.
