Wines, Whiskers and Wags is the title given the popular benefit for the Mower County Humane Society.

Scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, the benefit will be held at the Hormel Historic Home, Austin.

The cost is a $25 donation per person.

There will be reserve wines and a catered hors d’oeurves buffet.

Kelsey Fleming, harpist, will provide music for the evening.

This marks the fourth annual Wines, Whiskers and Wags benefit for the Humane Society. David Olson, owner of Apollo Liquor, has been a part of all of the MCHS fundraisers.

Proceeds from the June 11 event will go toward the day-to-day expenses of operating the Friends In Need Animal Shelter along 10th Dr. S.E. in Austin.

Tickets are available in advance at Double KK Specialty, Apollo Liquor, Austin Veterinary Clinic and Hardy Geranium as well as MCHS volunteers.
