A 6-year-old boy shot a 3-year-old boy with a BB gun Thursday in Austin but no injuries were reported.

The boys were playing outside on the 400 block of 27th Street Southwest, according to a police report, when the incident occurred around 6:40 p.m.

Ileana Babstro, 29, the mother of the 6-year-old boy, said he got it out of an unlocked vehicle.

No charges are pending.
