An 50-year-old Austin man faces four felony charges for allegedly touching a 10-year-old boy multiple times during the last two years.

Michael Dennis Conway, from 1503 Seventh St. N.W., appeared in court Thursday on charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to a court complaint, the touching began in fall 2006. The boy told authorities that Conway would tell him to take his clothes off then touch his penis and buttocks.

The alleged abuse took place at Conway’s Seventh Street house, where he lived with his mother, and at a rural Rose Creek residence.

Conway is in Mower County custody on $200,000 bail, or $100,000 with conditions. His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 13.
