This week’s Global Language Camp has been an enormous success, and I would like to take the time to thank the many people who dedicated their time to the program. Global Volunteers, who come from across the U.S., spent the week helping students in the classroom. The students who participate in Global Language camp are English language learners who come from a variety of backgrounds. They look forward to the week because it gives them an opportunity to practice their English during the summer months when they are not in classes, learn new skills and make new friends. I am proud of the students for all they have accomplished this week.

Special thanks to the parents of our campers for their generosity in welcoming the Global Volunteers to our community. We are thankful for the support of all the community volunteers who have donated a great amount of time and talent to make the week a positive learning experience for an eager, enthusiastic group of children. Thank you all for making this week such a special experience for the kids.
