A man charged with forgery after fraudulent documents were found on him while passed out drunk in the park has pleaded guilty.
Ambrosio Aguilar-Vasquez, 48, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of aggravated felony forgery.
Police found Aguilar-Vasquez in Veteran’s Park on July 29.
A search of his person uncovered a Quality Pork Processors work card in the name “Leonel Garza.”
Police found Mexican IDs on Aguilar-Vasquez that used his real name, and the “Garza” ID was highly discolored and had a dissimilar signature to the other cards, according to a court complaint.
The complaint also states that Aguilar-Vasquez had a piece of paper in his pocket with the “Garza” name on it, along with other names and Social Security numbers.
When he was found, Aguilar-Vasquez had an empty bottle of vodka in his pants pocket and registered a 0.31 blood-alcohol content.
A sentencing date has not been set.
