The Pacelli girls tennis team opened its season at Lake City Monday, dropping a 6-1 contest to the hosts and falling to Durand, Wis. 4-3.

Junior Lisa Johnen had a strong debut at the No. 1 singles spot for the Shamrocks. She won both of her matches 6-0, 6-0.

Abby Leif picked and Stephanie Kocer each picked up tiebreaker wins against Durand for Pacelli, which played without a No. 3 doubles team in both matches.
