A walkie-talkie was reported stolen Monday from a Wescott Field shed, and some damage was done with a fire extinguisher.

According to a police report, someone or multiple suspects gained entry into a maintenance shed sometime before 7 a.m. Monday through an unlocked side door and sprayed a fire extinguisher all over the room.

The fire extinguisher was reportedly taken from a nearby dump truck. There was some debris sprayed in the truck as well.

The thief or thieves swept up any footprints left in the debris in the shed with a broom, the report states.

The walkie-talkie is valued at $400.

No suspects were named in the report.
