An Austin man sustained no serious injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while biking Tuesday.

Kyle Fleener, 25, was going north on 14th Street Southwest through Oakland Avenue when a car driven by Kathryn Anderson, 51, also of Austin, turned into him, according to a police report.

Fleener was wearing a helmet and suffered only a few scrapes to his left side. He declined medical attention on scene.

Anderson said she did not see Fleener and was glad he was OK.

No citations are expected in the case.
