Komets beat Vikings in four games

The Hayfield volleyball played good, but not good enough in a 21-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-18 loss at Kasson/Mantorville Thursday.
Hayfield head coach Deb Harvey was pleased with how her team fought against K/M (13-6 overall).
“We played well for most of the match and it was our best match so far this season,” she said.
The Vikings (7-3 overall) were led by Kiley Severson, who had 16 kills, 12 digs and two aces. Katelyn Kramer had seven kills and an ace, Sam Serratore had 17 digs, Molly Streightiff had four kills, 29 assists, 13 digs, and an ace, Liz Ristau had four kills and four blocks, Abby Blanchard had nine kills and 17 digs, Alyssa Selk had 22 digs, and Naomi Kuddes had 11 digs.
K/M was led by Haley Prigge who had 29 assists and six kills, and Abby Matniz, who had 15 kills.
