An Austin teenager reported that his car was stolen Wednesday while away on a field trip.

Jacob Michael Ewert, 18, said he parked his 1989 Honda Accord on the 400 block of Sixth Place Northwest to catch a bus Wednesday morning.

His car was gone when he arrived back from the trip later that evening.

Ewert said he did keep a spare key under the front fender.

There are currently no suspects in the case.
