The Austin High School soccer team will open the playoffs at home Tuesday night against Stewartville, with a 7 p.m. kick off at Wescott Field.

On Saturday, Mankato East edged the Packers (10-5 overall, 6-5 Big Nine) in Mankato 3-2.

Senior forward Martin Manocchio put Austin up 1-0 in the first half, but Mankato East responded with two straight goals to lead 2-1 at the break.

Mankato East made it 3-1 in the second half, before Alex Klock scored on a penalty kick for the Packers to make it 3-2.
