A heartfelt thanks goes to the Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department and volunteers.

Mark Walski, APD, organized a fundraising softball game to replace trees lost during the June tornado. These beautiful trees were planted Oct. 3 through the tornado area. APD, AFD, volunteers and Scott Fox (with his heavy equipment) all endured the rainy conditions to set these trees in our Royal Manor neighborhood.

Our homes and buildings can be repaired, but the trees were lost forever.
