One woman was arrested and another could be charged for reportedly breaking into a property and attacking the residents.

The incident occurred Sunday night at an apartment on 204 11th Ave. NW.

According to a police report, a 29-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman, both of Austin, broke into the room at around 6:40 p.m. and got into a fight with the residents, who are two women, ages 35 and 28.

The two women living in the apartment were able to get the attackers out of the room and call the police, at which point the attackers left.

They later returned, banging at the door and threatening to kill the residents.

Police later arrived and arrested the 29-year-old suspect. She has not been formally charged.

Police did not apprehend the 23-year-old suspect but she also will likely face charges.
