A man reports that a computer was stolen from his Brownsdale house sometime before he arrived home early Friday.

According to a sheriff’s department report, the 28-year-old property owner arrived at his residence on the 300 block of Market Street at about 1 a.m. to find the door kicked in.

A computer tower was missing from a lower-level bedroom but nothing else was taken, and it did not appear as if anyone had rummaged through anything else.

Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May said Monday that a few suspects had been identified and that the case was under investigation.
